Upcoming Events

April 12th—River View Community Day at the high school.  Come on out from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. to see various groups and the services and work they do here in our county.  We’ll be there with our recycling challenge (weather permitting) and prizes galore!  Plus free food...I mean, how can you go wrong?

April 19th—Tire Collection at Fairgrounds.  9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Costs are $2 for passenger tires, $10 for rear-wheel tractor tires, $5 for all in-between sizes.

April 19th—Coshocton Cleanup Day!  Be able to say, “I made a difference!”  Free T-shirts for the first 100 to volunteer.  Call 622-1373 for more information.

April 22nd—Earth Day!  What can you do ?  Clean up around your neighborhood?  Take a trip to our recycling trailers with a load?  Plant a tree?  Talk with your kids about things they can do for the future?  Get creative and have fun!

April 26th—Wills Creek Cleanup!  Prizes for all participants, a drawing for a grand prize and the delicious chili-and-hot-dog lunch we’ve all come to know and love!

May 24—Tentatively scheduled for Appliance Collection.  Check back here for updates and fresh information.

September 13th—Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day at Coshocton Career Center.  9 a.m. until 1 p.m.  Uncontaminated used oil may be taken to Prince’s Wrecker Service, 541 Auto Repair and Auto Zone during regular business hours.  NO PAINT will be accepted.  Simply dry out unused paint and place it with your regular waste for trash pickup.

October—An electronics collection is planned.  Date not yet determined.
